Use: Chicle, the resin of Pistacia mutica, comes on the trading market as a white and almost tenaciously form. As its scientific name indicates, it is harvested from a tree which is part of the pistachio family. This is an indigenous tree in the Caucasus, Irak and western part of Iran which grows to a height of 15 meter.
