Use: Adam Michael has this to say about Chamomile Absolute (ROMAN) “For perfumers this material adds herbal warmth and roundness to compositions of a woody nature whilst providing a noticeable lift to florals. As with many members of the Asteraceae family, chamomile is rich in azulene. Chamomile absolute is of a thick but pourable consistency (that would benefit from gentle warmth), olive green in colour and obtained by solvent extracting the chamomile flowers. The aroma is herbal, sweet, fruity, and slightly creamy, possessing more strength, warmth and long lasting depth than the steam distilled offering.”
